Progress!

It's been a long few days at school, but I'm finally seeing the end of the tunnel...in terms of decorating at least!

Added scrap booking paper to my file cabinets in attempt to make them a little prettier!















Teachers need their name on their desk too!














I wanted to find a way to display pictures from special events during the school year of my students and finally thought of creating a classroom timeline. We can look back at moments from our year all while learning the concept of a timeline.

I used hand sanitizer bottles as bathroom passes last year when I was a long term sub and it worked wonderful! I use one girls and one boys pass (only one student is allowed to go to the bathroom at a time.) When a student needs to use the bathroom and and their gender pass is at the sink, they place the bottle on the top of their desk.  This allows me to know where they are if I see they are not in the classroom. When they return from the bathroom, they squirt some sanitizer on their hands (because really, how many kids skip out of the bathroom without washing their hands) and then return it to the sink.
